We offer the Level 2 Award in Fire Risk Assessment course at our comfortable, well-equipped and fully accessible training venue in Pakistan, away from the distractions of the workplace.
The course is delivered in one day by our highly qualified and experienced instructors interactively and engagingly.
The HABC Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (QCF) has been accredited by the regulators of England and Wales (Ofqual and Welsh Government) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It is supported by Pro skills, the Sector Skills Council for the process and manufacturing sector.
From October 2006, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO), came into effect. This requires the responsible person (employer, occupier or owner) to take reasonable steps to reduce the risk from fire and ensure safe escape for both employees and visitors.
Ensure all employees are provided with adequate safety training at the time they are first employed and on being exposed to new and increased risks.
Appoint one or more ‘competent persons’ to assist with fire safety in the workplace and provide them with sufficient training to remain effective in reducing the risks from fire hazards.
The FSO applies to all non-domestic premises in England and Wales, including the common parts of blocks of flats and houses in multiple occupations.
Under the FSO, the responsible person must conduct a fire safety risk assessment and implement and maintain a fire management plan.
This level 2 qualification is aimed at anyone requiring a Fire Warden or a Fire Marshal in the workplace. The qualification covers the latest fire safety regulations and the roles and duties of employees and their responsibilities on Fire Safety. The qualification is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It covers how fires are started, methods of controlling fire spread, evacuating the building, fire briefings and risk assessing.
Level 2 Award in Fire Safety course is delivered in one day and provides this ‘responsible person’ with knowledge and understanding of the fire risk assessment process and the skills required to undertake a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment.
This qualification provides the opportunity for learners to develop competence in key skills and produce evidence towards attaining key skills. The qualification does not ensure key skills are met as this would depend upon learners producing a portfolio of evidence and the mode of study adopted.
A range of subjects are covered including the hazards and risks associated with fire in the workplace, how fire risk is controlled in the workplac, the role of the nominated fire warden, the principles and practice of fire safety management at work & much more . . .
There are no prerequisites for this qualification. It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent. This qualification is approved for delivery to the age ranges Pre-16, 16-18 and 19+.
The Level 2 Fire Safety course is aimed at personnel with extra fire responsibilities within the workplace.
An ideal course for managers, supervisors and fire marshals/wardens or those who undertake or assist in fire risk assessments at work.
This Fire Safety Training Course is designed for employees who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their employer by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risk (e.g. as fire wardens/marshals/stewards etc.
